NOTE: Very seldom do we movie-goers sit in a theater and are completely mesmerized beyond control, this film has that kind of affect. Naturally the portrayal of the life of Edith Piaf is going to have many musical parts to the film, every sound and every song gave me goose bumps. The french setting of Edith's childhood years in france was beautifully done. The acting was nothing less than wonderful, the role of Edith Piaf was given to Marion Cotillard whose portrayal of Edith Piaf was spectacular, her physical appearance for the role of Edith Piaf went through dramatic changes through out the film and with each change in physical appearance there was also a significance difference in physical movement, speech and acting Edith's personality for each of these times in her life.
